Foundational Scientific Research

The Vingroup Big Data Institute was established in August 2018, with the aim of conducting applied research in key areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The Institute also carries out sponsorship and training activities to enhance the quality of high-tech human resources in Vietnam.

Product Development

VinBigdata Joint Stock Company was founded on the foundation of several scientific research achievements from the Vingroup Big Data Institute in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, particularly in Image Processing and Natural Language Processing. The company develops advanced technological solutions to help businesses accelerate their digital transformation. Some of the company’s notable products include the Vietnamese virtual assistant ViVi, ViGPT – the first “ChatGPT version for Vietnamese users,” and the ecosystem of intelligent image analysis solutions called Vizone.

Development

The Vingroup Innovation Foundation (VinIF) was established on August 21, 2018, with the purpose of supporting organizations and individuals in conducting scientific research, technology development, and innovation, aiming to create positive and sustainable changes for Vietnam.

The Vingroup AI Engineer Training Program has been implemented by Vingroup since August 2020, with the goal of building a high-quality team of engineers with the skills to solve practical problems, meeting the technological resource needs within the group’s ecosystem.
